Our garden plants, like yours, give out fragrance in its most perfect state, often richest after rain. Chill night air is less fragrant, because the cold slows the diffusion of perfumes while  frost will  halt it altogether. But then, the morning sun warms the leaves and flowers to give a special fragrance to start the day- ‘fresh air’, this must be the most precious perfume of all –
